Description
I started this afghan last summer - which is crazy, I know. One does not work on blanket projects in the summer. It did keep me warm while I finished it, though.
The pattern is my own, more or less made up on the fly, though I did start with an online pattern for a star shape, found here, by Beth Parsons.
The yarn is Bernat (white) and Tent Sale (red and blue) which is made by Bernat, all worsted weight acrylic. I used a size H (5.00mm) crochet hook. The finished blanket is about 50 inches across. Once I wash and block it, I hope the edges won't ruffle so much.
The red background paper I used to create the composite image is from the digital scrapbooking kit "Home of the Brave" from www.computerscrapbook.com.
